Corporate Building, 2014

Designed for energy efficiency

Overview

This office building, and commercial conference facility, was designed for the center of the Interlomas neighborhood in Mexico City.

The building’s vertical shading columns on the east-facing facade were designed to minimize the sun’s heating effect and add to its environmental efficiency. The other facades adopt transparent glass and terraces to enhance the calming effect of natural light and offer ventilation to help reduce energy use.
